The Idea

It started with a yearlong photography project in 2017. Using #dailyauddity, I committed to posting an image on Instagram every day, with the intention of forcing myself to practice shooting, framing, and editing on a regular basis. It immediately evolved into a research project as well, as I spent hours on each post, reading up on the subject of my image and distilling that information into fun, fact-filled captions. 

With the overwhelming support and positive comments I received on the posts, I began thinking about how the images and stories could be better displayed. I'd also begun getting questions about prints. Thus, Audball Photography was born. 

The name

A wonderful teacher once told me that the more nicknames you have, the more loved you are. "Audball" is one of the oldest and most accurate.
